Our Story
(STRA) is the first platform built specifically to represent, connect, and professionalise the short-term rental sector from within Asia.
We exist because Asia’s STR industry has outgrown outdated labels, imported frameworks, and one-size-fits-all thinking. For too long, Asia has been grouped under “APAC” — an external construct that masks the region’s scale, diversity, and economic contribution. STRA was created to change that.
Asia does not need a proxy.
Asia needs its own table.

STRA is Asia-first and delegate-first.
We are not a showcase platform, a free forum, or a marketing megaphone. STRA is a working room — designed for operators, founders, property managers, investors, platforms, and policymakers who show up to shape outcomes.
Our role is to bring clarity, structure, and trust to a sector that now represents a meaningful share of accommodation supply across many Asian markets — and to ensure those closest to the ground are the ones shaping its future.
