 STRA Verification is an independent review process designed to help identify professional short-term rental operators across Asia. Verified operators are included in the STRA Verified Property Manager Index and receive a public verification profile and digital trust badge. 

Professional property managers, villa operators, serviced apartment operators, holiday home managers, and hospitality businesses actively managing short-term rental accommodation in Asia. 

No. Verification confirms that an operator has successfully completed STRA's verification process at the time of assessment. It is not a guarantee of future performance, service quality, or financial outcomes.  

 STRA reviews information relating to business identity, operating structure, management responsibility, online presence, and other criteria relevant to professional operation. 

Most applications are reviewed within 5–10 business days once all required information has been submitted.

 Verification is valid for 12 months and must be renewed annually to maintain active status.

Every verified operator receives a unique verification ID and public verification profile. Verification status can be confirmed directly through STRA. 

 Yes. STRA may suspend or revoke verification if information provided is found to be inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, or no longer meets verification requirements. 

 No. The STRA Verified Property Manager badge remains the intellectual property of STRA and may only be used by operators with an active verification status. 

 STRA reserves the right to request removal of the badge and publicly identify businesses that falsely claim verification status. 

 Verification is a trust and transparency initiative. It is not a government licence, legal accreditation, financial audit, or regulatory approval.
